Welcome to MAV Curriculum Planning
Victorian Curriculum F - 10. This is the overall framework for the curriculum.
Planning should take account of the Victorian Curriculum requirements, the assessment and reporting framework, and the range of the students in the class. It should use the best possible learning activities and provide a way of linking the resources that are available to implement the framework to the genuine learning needs in your class. It should also provide a level of continuity between the year levels in your school and the need for continuity between primary and secondary schools. At secondary level it also needs to link helpfully to VCE and other senior secondary programs.
Resources available to members
Teach Maths for Understanding (TM4U) offers several levels of detail in planning.
The site aims to help teachers with planning and linking to suitable resources - for all years (Foundation to Year 10). This website contains hyperlinks to a huge variety of resources, including MAV learning resources, listed below.
To explore you need to log in with your email address and MAV password, as it is only available to MAV members. Then you can explore the Differentiated Unit Plans for your Year level to see how it offers prepared unit plans enabling you to meet the learning needs of a wide range of achievement levels in any classroom. These plans are based on the Victorian Curriculum.
