MAV provides an extensive program of Professional Development
for teachers of all year levels. PD is delivered by experienced
presenters, many of whom are practising classroom teachers.
Our
program ranges from two-hour after-school sessions to full-day
events,
both in the Melbourne metropolitan area and in regional centres.

The Maths Talent Quest has arrived again. Time to get your thinking hats on, finish working on your projects and developing your ideas. The newly updated MTQ website has many resources to assist you in providing some fantastic projects. Registrations online now.

A Maths Games Day is an opportunity for students to develop their mathematical talents and thinking skills in a setting where maths is regarded as fun and worthwhile with like-minded students from a diverse range of schools.
VCE Revision Lectures 2009

2008 Public Lecture Series
ConnectEd Maths, the 2008 Public Lecture Series, consists of four lectures taking place in August, September, October and November. Presented bt Drs Burkard Polster and Marty, these very popular lectures appealed to mathematics buffs, families looking for some fun and something to do together, mathematics teachers looking inspiration and to anyone seeking something to stretch a young mind or two.
